Great Game!
I didn't think it would have me play for over an hour, but you amazed me!
Good mechanics, good story, sound controls and misc were polished, as of originality, I give you 5/5.

Does the steam verison have mulitplayer mode ?

After picking a save slot, game fades to black and stays that way. Chrome with updated plugins. Shame the visual settings are locked behind a paywall, or I may have been able to get it to work.

That's a weird bug. The visual settings "lock" is actually because Flash can't change the screen-size in the browser, or re-render the graphics. But I don't think the visual settings would cause your bug. Only thing I could speculate about is 1) outdated Flash player (although you said plugins are up to date), or 2) the game-saving isn't permitted. (right-click on a Flash thing that isn't this game to get to the "local storage" settings) Not sure what else it could be.
Love the dialogue, lots of personality and fun.
Bit too easy to zerg rush the enemy though xP
