Good idea, nice art, enjoyable gameplay with decent difficulty level. Missing sounds but enjoyed the game very much.

It's.... pretty good?
Don't get me wrong, the art's great and the game's alright, but it has far too many similarities to ICS, and the game mechanics just aren't clear enough. I partially blame myself as a player who just isn't very good at it, but I don't feel I would have run into any problems at all if there were actual, solid instructions available.

I hadn't heard of ICS but I've been able to look it up and see. ICS2 looks pretty good. I think there are some key differences between the design though, Fox Flares is meant to be more of a speed run while it looks like ICS is a more exploratory traditional platformer. Being on fire in Fox Flares is something that needs to be resolved as quickly as possible while in ICS it feels more like an obstacle you have to work around.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback! If you want to elaborate on how it's not clear in the gameplay itself then that would be much appreciated. Usually I prefer players figuring out how things work through the level design and not just text, but any more feedback on that could help make the level design more clear. Thanks!
I love the art style! The fox is so cute. I spent about two minutes just wandering around the ending.
The controls feel good and everything was easy to understand for me. I think my biggest problems are how short it is and the level design, which felt a bit unpolished at times. Still, great game!
