Reviews for "Ass Brutalewd 5: Sex A Peel"

I love it. This was amazing. Also a fantastic use of OH Yea. love that song.

Honestly, I hate My Little Pony, and I think bronies are an embarrassment to public society. But this animation is top notch near perfection. It's a sexy mix like Happy Tree Friends is to blood and gore.

You lost a star to the "forum pop up" that had NO relevance to the rest of the animation, besides being a censor bar, which was clearly not needed. You actually did excellent covering up and lacking the nether regions so you would have gotten away with a Mature rating.

And why does the main character have to be the Only sexy anthropomorphic one? Wait... what am I typing? And why do I feel this way?? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ANIMATOR?!?!?

BrutaMod responds:

The Tumblr Ask popup is a traditional holdover from the comics - and so is the (often infuratingly) unnecessary censorship. Take a read and it'll start to make more sense! http://ass-brutalewd.tumblr.com

Maybe your closing questions can be answered by the comics, too... or maybe you'll have to send in an "Ask" for a full explanation! ;)

i enjoyed it :)

This was really well done... The animation was consistent and smooth (not necessarily perfect, but I believe that's a style question more than a quality point)... The audio sync's up well. And there's no obvious points of "cheaping out" over a rush to finish... so great work.
So why only four stars? Well, firstly, because there's only five to begin with. I can only give the number one top-notch greatest visual/audio animation experience of ALL time a five star rating. No offense, but while great work, this isn't exactly going to get to that caliber...
Best improvements / least investments...
Not a lot to say for this particular piece... honestly. I would point out that the gratuitously sexy bits are more "innuendo" than outright offensive, but there's at least a couple places where :"authentic" genitals were shown, so the adult rating is warranted in this case... What I'm pointing out though, is that it seems like so small a part (or two) of the over-all work, that you might do well to just eliminate the "absolute showing" or "authenticity" of genitals in the future (especially if you were to revisit this work)... There's a rampant over-use of the obvious in a LOT of media today, apparently assuming the audience to be completely populated with morons. Being different is what defines each and every one of us as artists... so maybe... don't assume the audience or viewer to be an idiot who can't understand the concept of "innuendo"... I certainly knew exactly what you were up to even as Brutal' got her hands (hooves?) on the banana... and I think it was easily figured out before the next scene was done...
Okay, on the "cheap out" side... There did seem to be a slight lack of "detail" to the "mail bag"... I don't know. Everything (or most of everything) seems to look and "feel" right about the scene. Somehow, though... that mail bag is just... flat. It's almost like a "decal" stuck to the side of the pony instead of an actual parcel or container... so maybe some dimension and shadow... I still stand by the original assessment that there was nothing "OBVIOUS" about cheaping out or rushing the job... So don't put too much in it... It's worth the mention (barely) as that "cheaping out" or "ruching" a piece through production is a very popular and fairly quick way to get lower ratings when you know you're work is generally better than that.

Okay, I've let this go on long enough... lolz... Remember to breathe, relax, and keep on keeping on. :o)

BrutaMod responds:

In case you were wondering, the out-of-place art style of the mailbag pony is due to it being from a different comic. When other people's characters make cameos due to them sending in questions, I often use the artist's original art style for their character - as a nod to their own comics. It does look out of place, and maybe "cheap" because of that, but it's out of respect for my fellow artists.

that was beautiful lol
