I honestly don't think I've ever been in a situation like this. It's probably because I myself have moved a lot. My dad had a lot of different jobs. It's probably too personal to discuss. I imagine it probably would be like this if I helped someone move. I'm not that physically strong.
Well, I can lift some stuff up. No Brewstew logo at the end? I might want to have someone help me move sometime. It would be cheaper. A pity I'm not a sadist.
So far I've just helped one friend movie, but it was a ton of fun! Fortunately domestic appliances tend to come with the apartment here, so no need to drag in any of those. :) As long as it's all just heavy well-packed boxes and wooden bits of manageable size it's all good! No pool tables, and I hear even worse: pianos. Entertaining sketch though!

It's all so true. I always feel a bit benevolent right up until that first heavy piece of furniture. Then I'm wondering what exactly was wrong with my brain that I actually agreed to willingly do this.

Yes. Yes, it is exactly like that. And you never want to see said friends ever again, especially when they don't give you beer and pizza and just expect you to have done it, "because we're friends."
