Reviews for "Madness: Nevada Hotline"

This game wasn't that bad at all unless this need an increased some graphics and you got me a to be continued meme also happy (late) madness day 2017.

io3creations responds:

Yeah, I know the gfx could use some update, but I was going for the "minimalist" style of early Madness animations.

Not great. The main thing hotline miami has going for it is its frantic speed, which is in part due to the one hit kill nature of the game. This game is so sluggish and slow by comparison. Points for effort though, as it's not completely lazy and shows thought.

io3creations responds:

As I replied to dirtywaffle, the gameplay is between Hotline Miami and the slow movement speed seen in Madness animations. I do plan to make a "reboot" but the current engine doesn't really allow for the Hotline Miami type gameplay. However, once I update the engine, then I'll be able to make it like that.

A couple things that you should improve. Its hotline Miami not Miami hotline, make the game fast pace since that's the games demo is, make everyone have a lot less health it should take a couple hits to kill you (maybe 3 per stage) and make the enemies take 1-2 hits, speed up the movement and make the bullets go faster it should be near instant. You probably shouldn't (and wont) change this game but for your future projects like this change it

io3creations responds:

I know what you mean but I was going for a game between the fast pace of Hotline Miami and the slow paced movement of Madness. So, it's more of a mix, hence the word switch in the title. ;)

Several things suck here. On one of the levels I could not proceed to the next level, although I eliminated all targets. The exit was inactive. I had to reset the level, but the targets counter was back to 0. Then I finished the game, the medal popped up, but did not show up on my account. Now how can I get it? Make sure to make a medal re-sending feature of some sort.

io3creations responds:

The game does have a medal re-sending feature. It saves the medal info in the "Flash cookies". So as long as those aren't erased, refreshing the webpage (or re-opening if you already closed it) should re-send the medals.

Yeah, I know about the bug where some enemies get "stuck" between other enemies that you killed and it sees like all of those are dead. I have a general idea of what may cause it and will look into it.
