Well... I don't know about story, character development and anything. I just don't want to play it after visiting the inn. It's the poorest area design I've seen, especially for a game aspiring to be published on steam. It's the poorest story introduction I've seen EVER. Why should someone give out a sword, even such a rusty one, to someone unknown and nameless who can just stab him in the back? Why should someone want to join with some unknown nameless lass with a rusty sword on his belt? Why there's no name to a hero? And LOTS of more "why". It's not intriguing - it's weird, it make the game world artificial, poor, dead. RPGs are played to enjoy some interesting world created by an author, and without one - there is nothing to do in the game.
Also, inner voice telling abot game controls is one of the worst ways to explain controls. Even a straightforward info message is better.
So. If you want someone to play this game without reviews like "compensate me the time I wasted on this", there's a lot of work to be done. A LOT of work.

I did want to put it on steam but I lack the 100$ at the moment
It looks nice and I can say if any romance options are aviable I will probably absolutely like that. I will not say that I need real love scenes, but maybe a suggestion toward it would be good to make their romance look more real. However please no fixed romance, I would like to choose which is something I love about games sometimes.
Maybe you could even add some sort of adoption for a child Unit, I just love romance and adoptions in stories and if this is a demo there is probably still a chance for you to add such stuff.
Well like I said I would be happy for such stuff in the game since it would make it better for me, I won't play thorugh the whole demo since I saw it was just that, but I loved that artstyle in a similar game already and if the writing is not that bad it should be alright.
Thanks for the review! I never really thought of adding romance to it, other then when rakear ends up getting a letter from his x in the nature realm. But that does give me a really cool idea on how I can make more actors to get for your little army. And just FYI I'll be updating this game until it becomes the full version over time, and I have a LOT of content in this demo at least 24 hours of play. So if you do keep playing I'll always have more for you to do and find! Thanks again!
Just another RPG maker game.
Here are some suggestions for your next game.
- Give enemys more attacks, rather than just 1 attack called attack
- Name system.
- Play around with some cool plugins. (Yanfly Engine)
This was my first RPG Maker mv game can you tell? But don't let the attack system fool you I have a lot of content in this game. I'm not sure how far you got but I do use a multitude of yanfly plugins.
Please don't judge a game on it's attack system. Haha
