Reviews for "It's A Mad World, Charlie Brown (2017)"

Nice subversion of expectations. I imagine most people want the catharsis of Charlie murdering Lucy because she's such a douche, but in this she literally dug her own grave by giving him those pills. Nothing to do with her charming personality. Well, less to do with that than usual. Can't wait for the followup.

You know... I watched all the Saw movies a while back... And even compared to movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, or Friday the 13th... This was scarier than all of the horror movies I've watched in the last few years.

So Kudos on that. Movie studios need to hire you to write horror movies.

Tsk tsk, you never learn, do you Lucy? Good work as always buddy. :)

And here I thought I'd never again see Charlie Brown brutally murdering people on Newgrounds, in the good year of our lord 2017.

This is the best thing I have seen on this site. Sure, others can do better, but Newgrounds is usually used for trying new things, expressing your best work, etc, and this would make trending on youtube (meaning really good.) This right here has earned the title as the only thing I want to give 6 stars to on this site. Well done bud.

The Horror turn really gave me another insight into the Peanuts series of comics, Movies, etc. It makes a theory popup. Good job on tha aswell.

P.S. Only rarely would the youtube superstars of animation make it on Youtube's trending page, what makes it even harder is that Youtube's algorithim would not try to support this because of it's small length, whic is why animation is hard to sustain on youtube, but this, algorithim or not, would make it to top 5 trending on Youtube.

I would like to say this one last time... Amazing work, Great job, and Several impressive based on what 99% of Newgrounds movie content is made up of.

I really appreciate the kind words in your review. The landscape for this type of thing has really changed a lot since I last released something back in 2011 and it's a lot harder now to get noticed. So even if this animation gets buried a week from now messages like yours mean a lot to me.
