Reviews for "Iron Kiss"

AAAAAND I DID IT! After a long time and button spamming i finally got the good ending, took me like 30 minutes of trying but I loved the game.

Pandadoor responds:

Awesome, thanks for playing!

so, horrible design choice making it ad free by default, i didn't even know it was a choice so i missed out on plenty of rep permanently. art is meh for an indie game, and some of the rules as how the powers work are really underexplained. overall not that great.

It's possible and actually pretty easy to kill only the 99ers. Not gonna say how, but it's easy to figure out if you just read the instructions.

Pandadoor responds:

You know the secret, thanks for playing.

so... i didn't ue the +50 rep bonus... and killed a bunch of guys. so that's a bunch of rep i permanently lost access to? how stupid.

Pandadoor responds:

Your ship was ad free, it's a moral choice.

I found this game to be enjoyable. However, the whole "Only beat the hardest people to get the good ending" idea is next to impossible. I managed to kill the first two after painstaking trial and error, but I just could not beat the last guy. You don't get enough reputation to do anything. If you want to have a strong enough hull to not die, then you pretty much have to get rid of everything else, which means you are useless and you die. If you want to have enough engine power to actually be able to push him into the laser then you are too weak to do anything and you die. My biggest complaint would have to be how little the ramming collision makes sense. The last guy would ram me from two centimeters away and somehow do like 300 hull damage while I would ram him and do barely anything. Plus, there would be times where I would boost twice to push him into the laser and that would somehow do massive amounts of damage against me despite the fact I was still connected to him and essentially just pushing him forward. How does that make sense? Not to mention how the only way to stay close to him while shooting is to use the magnet which somehow also does damage despite the fact that he was completely still and was drawn towards me very slowly. I would recommend either making the last guy easier or lowering the cost of the last hull upgrade because I eventually rage quit after losing like 20 times to the same guy.

Pandadoor responds:

Thanks for all your feedback, with the right strategy (and a good finger speed) you can beat the hardest opponents without any changes. You rage quit but you still enjoyed the game, I'm glad you liked it.
