The art style is beautiful and the game itself is very well made. Good job! ;)
A nice short game. Very simple and easy one you understand how to play it. The graphics are simplistic, yet nice. However the game lacks content at this stage, but that's reasonable due to the time constraints that this game was made under.
I came across what I think is a bug while playing, where the last thirty seconds of the game had no solar flares, and I was just waiting for the time to run out with nothing to do.
Overall a nice game, and I hope to see more content from these developers in the future.

We will address this issue at once.
Size of font at all screens is way too small and difficult to read. The instructions could be merged up at the begining of the game rather than in a separate option (tutorial). No pause menu or options menu can be open during gameplay, this menu should be there, other options would be good too, like music and sound.
Game is nice. It has a good feeling, it is a nice concept. No hard at all, and it is obviously way too short. Adding more levels would be incredible. IMO this game has potential.
Music is great BTW, calm and seems to fit with the ambient of the game. Color might be a little more bright.

This version is as noted the one we completed for the Jam itself, our main goal was to get the core gameplay mechanics in there with a nice wrapup. Our current goal is to expand gameplay and optimize the UI as you suggested above as well.
Client is going to be updated when a new version is released.
To note, since this demo version, we are tailoring everything towards a mobile friendly design.
