Reviews for "Future Fragments - NEW Electric Level Demo"

please, i beg, change the constant background a bit. it was like purgatory. oh, another room with volcano stuff and monsters, good god. i never felt like i was making progress.

hentaiwriter responds:

We'll be adding in more backgrounds later on in development, no worries :) Thanks for the review and rating!

*fap, fap, fap, fap* :D

Amazing, wish it was longer

Nice game.
The Grunts (Zombies?) can attack through walls though and hopefully there will be a gliding mechanic to give a chance to the player to survive from the long fall down to the lava pits.

Also a text glitch in one of the databanks in one of the earlier levels. Not unreadable just some text at the lowest part of the screen that shouldn't be there.

The enemies being able to attack through walls won't be in future builds :) Additionally, you can look down by pressing down to make sure you don't fall into any pits!

The databank glitch is a side effect of condensing the game's resolution down to HTML5 size (it's usually 720p), in the actual game it works and such :P

Alright, here is a comprehensive idea of what I thought of the game. It was alluring, and it contained challenging platforming. I would say it is a decent affair, I enjoyed that quite a lot. Especially the cute sex(BTW, having intercourse at the end have any ramifications or anything?). I would suggest that, if she gets cummed inside a lot, she actually get's pregnant throughout the game. And/or maybe some type of ramification if you have sex a lot. What bothered me a bit was the fact that when you die, you return to the spawn place, getting rid of a whole lot of work. I would suggest spawning through the beginning of the level. At the final boss, I felt that it was too polarizing for a first encounter with a boss. It really felt like a mini-boss more than an actual real boss to fight for the first time in the game. And it wasn't as creative as I thought it would be, you just fight your way through waves of enemies while trying to outrun this thing. Kinda disappointing compared to the air jumping puzzle that came at the end which was pretty smart and challenging for a pornographic game. Other than that, there was a few other things, the computer screens seem to be lore finds, which seem to me a bit cheap. Usually, I prefer power-ups or more than just data mines. Maybe add some kind of reason for people to look at the computers other than for lore dumps. Some people would just ignore that and move on without even touching the subject. I would suggest pairing the lore dumps with item descriptions or something.

Another thing, I found the combat to be a bit stale, you just have a charge attack and a simple blast shooter. If you could make the combat a little more complex with power-up weapons or increasing the strength or your attacks etc, that would really enhance the game.

Other than that, I feel the game is very solid and has actual interesting mechanics at it's disposal, it just needs a bit more complexity to really make it shine.

Not bad though, not bad.

Hey, thanks for the rating and comprehensive review! Let me address some of the points here;

- There isn't any ramifications for how little/much sex you have with enemies (besides the animations changing SLIGHTLY), but throughout the game there are going to be a wide variety of cutscenes (over 50), and some of them have sexual options as choices. Sometimes the sexual choices will lead to good things later, sometimes bad things, sometimes both, but all your choices will affect future cutscenes and such.

- While a lot of people want pregnancy, we're still on the fence with that; in any case, restarting from the save point (which happens after every game over) would return her body and anything she had on her at the point she saved to that point in time, meaning there'd be no way for her to actually get pregnant.

- With the new builds from here on out, we have a "hub system" where, instead of a long series of maps in a linear fashion, it works more like a pseudo-metroidvania, where you start off in a hub room, and can pick one of three rooms to go into that are large, exploration rooms, and then from those smaller paths branch out. Upon reaching the end of one of these paths (about 3-4 maps long), you'll be returned to the hub room to go down another path. This way, the penalty for dying is pretty lax as far as losing progress, and the player has more freedom of choice.

- The first boss fight, and the first level of the game (this being that level), are very much designed to be for powerup gathering as well as getting fully used to everything the game has at a base level. Future levels will be much more complex/challenging; the current Ice Demo we're about to release on December 8th is such an example :P

- The computer databanks will still be in future builds, but they will be separated into gold and silver databanks, with gold ones containing the main plot line and silver ones being more "world building" information.

- That said, the computer databanks will be heavily replaced with powerups for rewards for taking a more difficult path, as well as visual/interactive cutscenes with choices, and many of the databanks remaining will be converted into video, audio, or minigame databanks, with the text-only ones remaining being mainly for world-building.

- The combat will expand greatly with future builds; there's 50 powerups that alter your basic mechanics in a large variety of ways, as well as two ability upgrades you'll get per boss (an extra charge shot type and a utility ability), and you'll need them to combat the increasingly more complex enemies per level.

I hope that addressed/cleared up a lot of your concerns! :)
