Reviews for "The Treasure Tomb"

It was real short , at the begging it seemed promising and thought I'll have a long adventure just in like submachine series , it would be great if you start making more of these kind of games and ofc they'll have to be much longer ,what i liked about this game is only the art so far....

The music and the click to the right or left had me anticipating something jumping out at me for a scare. The fact that the game ends after just one puzzle, I'm not even mad because I got the suspense and I got the puzzle and the feeling of dread is always more thrilling than the reveal. If this was your first attempt I would like to add you are one the right track, content is the only thing lacking here. A few more puzzles and a level climbing goal should round this one off nicely. This game made me thing about the NES Friday the 13th game with was a left to right scroller.

Submachine-like, too short and kind of pointless, too. Well, you had only 72 hours, but still, not very sub-stantial. get it?

Oh and very anticlimatic ending. Egyptian guys were that bad at building traps?

Game play was rather easy. I like the little surprise when falling through a ground. I almost thought the character could be dead or trapped.

The bird and eye symbols look familiar. Yet, I forgot in which games I had seen them.

I played extraction: chapter 0 a play and enjoyed it while it lasted. I understand a new chapter is coming out.
After playing this I can't help but see a pattern in overly simple, well stylized escape games.
Hoping I get a bit more of a challenge with your other submissions.

LightWolfStudios responds:

This game was made before Extraction: Chapter 0, and both were designed and developed in the 72 hour rush that is the Ludum Dare game jam. Our future games will definitely be significantly better.
