Reviews for "Robots Continue Work Sequence"

This game is very enjoyable. I find myself going back to try and get a better time. It's very addicting. The sounds are fitting as well. Awesome job!

this game is nice, just wonder is it written in javascript or action script?

Don't know why, but really love this game!! Kept me on until I made it gold everywhere - haven't had that in a long time :-)

I enjoyed playing this while listening to a podcast, took 2-3 hours to beat, and that's including about four restarts or failures.

It's main goal is simple enough: gather resources and sometimes build structures. It works pretty well, you click on a resource point or a building site, and the nearest robot goes and collects from it once or builds it up. If all robots are busy, the next one to finish their job will go to the next item in the job queue.

Majority of the levels are pretty easy (unless you want to go for the gold completion). You MIGHT fail if you do things in a bad order, but that never happened to me. What threw me for a loop at first was level 23, when you encounter enemies for the first time. All they do is grab your robots and drag them to prison, where you have to pay a small fee to free them. These enemies are annoying, as they move in a circle around most of the maps resources, grabbing your stupid robots that you learn right about then just how little control you have over them. At this point it becomes a waiting/timing game. You have to let your robots stay somewhere safe, like around the HQ or a resource drop off (they'll still wonder a bit, but I've never seen them nabbed while idle), and send them out to collect while they have enough time to do so. But be careful, wait too long and the mission timer runs out, which means restart.

I found a glitch that I exploited pretty hard in the last level. I found out that if your robots are snatched up while heading to or doing a job, just cancel the job while they're being dragged away. The robot will "escape" the hold, and you can send them off to do whatever. The best part? If you do that once, that particular enemy will never grab another one of your robots again. There's only three enemies per level, so do it three times and you won't have to worry or bother with them for the rest of the mission.

I'd say that overall, this is a good casual game that doesn't need a whole lot of thinking power. But it could use some improvement. One star removed for the broken enemies, it really removes any challenge when you find this glitch. One half star removed since it could use a bit more variety of mission goals, and maybe slightly more control over the robots. Like maybe a "stop" button for your bots.

Maybe it's just me, but I'll consider it good enough if I can just finish this game. There's no way I can manage to get Gold on all levels.

The introduction of enemies in Level 23 is particularly frustrating because I can hardly avoid them due to the little degree of control that I have over my workers. All too often I end up shouting in dismay as someone gets arrested because the wrong worker responded to my command or ended up running right into them when they could have completely avoided capture if they just took the long way around.

And speaking of arrest, how is what my bots are doing remotely illegal? I call police brutality.

Please don't patch the glitch the previous reviewer mentioned. If I can't tell my workers to avoid the bad guys, I should at least have a way of outwitting them.
