Reviews for "Lampshade"

I thought it was a pretty solid game. Wonderful atmosphere. The only time that was sort of ruined was in chapter 2, when the old man actually said "you might want to write this down". I think the parts about paying attention while your mind is clear was obvious enough-at least for me :P Besides, if people don't read the PLEASE READ section, do they even deserve to play the game!?! (Joke, joke). Awesome game, I hope Haxe Flixel does you well (I've had some luck with it myself, I'd recommend it easily).

I've gotten 7 out of 8 torches in chapter 4. I assume I need all 8 to beat the room where the old man says I need a big light. So I've been looping around the map vertically through the room with the ghost lady thinking that must have something to do with the last torch. I have no idea how to get into the two rooms directly above that room.

Also, you can cheat your way through the obstacle course by repeatedly tapping M after you get hit by an arrow.

I am terrified of dark atmospheres in gaming to the point I'll avoid them at times. Although I will admit that jump scare at the beginning nearly had me throwing things from my desk, yet this game allowed me time to become comfortable enough to navigate darkness.
That ending was a little sad, so close to contact yet never reaching... #$%&ing tease. I can definitively say without a doubt Ch-5 was completely ridiculous. While I did surprise myself with how far I could get from memory I did end up having to open the game in a second window to navigate through it.
I'd recommend dropping that part from the level and just going straight into the doing cubes bit.

Im only in the 2nd phase of the game and already favorited it. Also the atmospheric splendor created by mark sparling is inspiring as much as the intelligent thought behind the gameplay is. Why are your games not on console yet! -cal.

I enjoyed this from the beginning to the end. Definitely worth an hour or two it took me to finish it.
