Reviews for "Defuse it!"

Not bad, but this does seem to be a clone of KTANE as mentioned. You should at least mention that. And you say that it has been done before that? A game where you disable a bomb with the help of another player using a bomb-defusal manual?

Its neat but it just seems to be a more simplistic version of keep talking and nobody explodes. Its kind of pointless.

Especally when you dont even mention the game that clearly you derive this one from. Credit where its due buddy.

Thanks for comment.

For all these, who says that it's a clone.

There are several game builds that follow this concept - BEFORE - "Keep talking and nobody explodes" was released. So, KTANE is a clone too? I dont think so. It's the same concept, but a different design.

Nice. But on code 10265 when i pull out battery aa (4pos switch is Zero), it generates an "error". And it's only one example. This is frustrating as you break your own rules. For gamers that love to follow orders, this is a no-go. If you say it's by design - it's bad design.

Yes, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". However, it is not when no credit is given. I'm not sure "Keep talking and nobody explodes" is THAT famous that everybody can immediately recognize the similarities, so I'm afraid I cannot rate this highly.

Also, the game's initial learning curve is a little too high. It requires too much (IMO) death even on easy before a player can get a basic understanding of the mechanics. A tutorial or practice mode would be nice. Of course you don't want players to be too familiar with the manual, but familiarity with the mechanics is crucial to a smooth game play.

Props to the visuals and manual nonetheless. It looks like a lot of hard work.

I liked it alot! Took a little while to figure out, but almost all the instructions worked and made sense once you pay attention to everything. Once I figured it out, I couldn't stop playing!
My only complaint: I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong for code 253, but every time I have an unplugged antenna, it seems like I have to enter 224, but when I do, I get blown up. Not sure if this is a bug or not.
