Reviews for "Launch"

Wow I actually cried a few times playing this. I like the story.

We are so happy you got the response we were looking for! We really appreciate your review! :) Thank you!

That has a quite "nostalgic" feeling.

Graphically it is nice and also the background story is well rendered, the gameplay (if you choose to try save the whole earth) is a bit repetitive but the messages from peoples on the surface makes it worth the round.

It's a good concept, and I hope it could be developed further.

Its a nice concept, not great graphics, below average voice acting, nice lore, but the lack of replayability should have been stated in the game and in the description.

Had potential, but the lack of information made the whole experience feel completely empty. I'm not the kind of person who needs to know every detail, but in a game about weighing morality and making decisions, the player has to be told enough to be able to make an informed decision about what to do. Too many things are never or badly explained to get invested in the story - Why was all of this left to one person? Why is the earth in danger? How is firing rockets, usually symbols of war and mass destruction, going to help anything? Why is the population dropping so rapidly? How much time is passing between shots? What is causing the almost supernaturally bad worldwide riots - not because of one family, surely? Why are the numbers on the Ark dropping over time too?

After the game was over, I was able to figure out what the moral choice was supposed to be: It's supposed to be a toss-up between taking a huge gamble to save everyone or a guarantee to save a few. But by that point it was way too late. During the time when it actually mattered, I didn't know what the decision I was making meant, so my choice was completely meaningless. I was told, completely without context, that the plan would only work if I fired all the missiles, so I did.

Also, this game badly needed some proofreading.

Cleared browsing history so that I could play it again.

Thank you for playing and reviewing the game! Every play and opinion counts, so it's wonderful to hear when people take the time to not only play it, but review it as well!
