Well, this is definitely fun and incredibly challenging. I think i understand what the dev/devs are going for in a difficulty perspective. It's meant to be "nes hard" And i think they captured it pretty well. The art style is gorgeous and it controls incredibly well. The only pet peeve i have are that there is no music.

Hey. Thanks for the lovely words. Aye, NES hard is what I was going for. Tough, but rewarding. There SHOULD be music! There are some tasty tunes in there. I have noticed some problems with certain browsers. I think IE doesn't play music.
