Controls are slippy and seem to be in reverse. I tap right, but move left I tap left and move right, etc. This will pass judgement though.

Are you using arrow keys or WASD for movement? Pressing left or right seem to rotate in the correct direction for me.
Very cool idea! I found the controls to be a bit sluggish and the mini map was difficult to see. Overall I love the idea and would love to play an updated version!

Thanks. Maybe I'll increase the minimap size a bit, I just didn't want it covering the game area too much. What browser are you using where the controls are sluggish?
It is not better than 2D. Anyway you play on small 2D map.
You can create normal Pacman with small 3D view and it will be better then that.
Nothing new in gameplay.

It's not really supposed to be better than the 2D version, it's just a different take on a classic game. The 2D version has been done plenty of times before. The minimap is supposed to be used for reference if needed, rather than playing the game on it.
