This game is very fun and addicting, just like the first Chibi Knight. There's a nice amount of secrets in this trial game that were fun to discover and experience; the lore was nice, as well as the music (although it got a little repetitive sometimes). As always, the grinding is pretty fun and easy, and for some reason, it's just insanely satisfying to one-shot the giant, red wasps at the beginning of the game.
However, there are some flaws, at least with the trial version: You can't seem to ever fight the pissed-off forest spirit ever again if you fail to defeat him the first time, which is annoying and tedious because you have to start a whole new game, grind until at least your armor and attack are both level 5 again, and try again. You should be able to just fight him again without restarting. Also, the game glitches out, and you can progress no further, it seems, once you make the... altar offering, since you can't get the spin attack from the boy's father to open the yellow-orc dungeon.
Another piece of constructive criticism is to fix the things that shoot the green blobs that snare you. They are RIDICULOUSLY annoying to get caught in, since getting hit again resets the number of times you have to wiggle out of it, which can be annoying when you're sitting right in front of one or a small worm. They're just frustratingly bad, and having to wiggle out of them should be a little less tedious.
My final observation/suggestion would be to change the font of some of the game. The font for some of the dialogue and quests, as well as the main menu text, just seems like a separation from how the game naturally feels—the fonts feel out-of-place. It just feels like some default font in Word that was used, which breaks away from the cartoony feel of the game.
The game is great besides these flaws/issues, and it has great replayability. It's a good time-waster, and when I ever get the money to, I plan on buying Super Chibi Knight on the Steam Store. If you can, though, it would be nice if this trial (and the full game, if applicable) could be refined to fix the previously mentioned downsides.
Keep up the great work, though, BoMToons.
