Decent game, not much variation, but good for a action skill game :)
I'ma give it a 4 since it held my interest fairly well in all truth it's a time waster, and it does it's job. If you can pull some time from the day and be entertaining then you've got the main aspect down.
Things I wish were there and those that need to be improved.
Music, it's a small thing but good tunes for KO'ing bosses goes a long way in a lot of aspects that you might not realize. That being said NG's is FULL of music and people generally don't mind you using their music in game as long as you give them credit and ask and so forth. This allows you to help boost fellow NG users, and add more to your game.
Things to change
Upgrades, they are random as all hell and this bothers me badly.
My first run my only damage boost was the axe I made it to level 7 and died since...Only 1 HP upgrade and the axe. The next one I never got the axe but i had a lot of damage upgrades, and 2 heart boosts.
My advice perhaps make it a point system like so many basic games do here, you beat a boss you get 3 points or how ever many you wish allow them to be spent in X way vs oh look it's random as all hell.
By that to make it similar to the style you have now, say you pick 3 points per boss. An upgrade costs 3, it wont go up to 4 but it will stay at 3, so every level you get ONE upgrade of your choice. Rather than here luck it out. Makes it have more of a skill vs luck aspect. Also gives people goals and allows builds to be tried and made out vs not.
Overall the game can be made better, it's not bad but it can be better and that means you're on a right track keep it up.
This is very addicting an fun to play! NWEGROUNDS AND NEWGROUNDERS DON'T EVEN THINK OF BLAMMING THIS GAME!
