I never though of it But that. Brendan according to the Original GBA Pokedex was Heavy enough for that sort of thing at the age of Ten. I miss Seeing the height and Weight of the Trainers since Gen 5.
Thing that could be improved apon is the Pokeball catch Animation. Its pretty Crappy in this Toon. Even if it was intended to look funny I don't think it was.

LOL the pokémon's reaction was funny. For something made on a low budget I can't hate. All I guess is work on using the brush more. Here's a tip, not sure if ur interested in this tip but, sketch an image, then zoom draw it. The zoom draw gives WAY better line art. If the line looks jagged zoomed out up ur smoothness but down the smoothness when sketching because smoothness causes errors when doing fast strokes.
