Reviews for "Smitty The Destroyer Ep 2"

Okay, so far, so cool... And I'm going to only briefly slip through the obvious Adventure Time spin...

As to story telling? If you want the most repetitive tip from pro's on the market (at least what I've seen)... It's actually a simple adjustment. Take care to cut back on thinking and telling in pure chronology. That means watch for the pitfalls of repeating "...and then..." I think we can all understand and relate, even when working on films.
You have a better than average comic plot, down to an adventurer named "Smitty" instead of something gauche like "Conan" or "Armetrius"... whatever...
You also have the storyline around the Darklord (spelling?)... And over time, you can storyboard other stories as you invent and flesh-out the generals in Smitty's path.

As you tell this story, start storyboarding some of the others and correlations where Smitty's actions might directly or indirectly reflect on the others (and yes, you can include friends as well as foes)... Let's face it. As a writer, once the story's done, you are too.
Try also to think in terms of "... because this... then..." as a simple segway from one storyline to the next. You can build up interest in Smitty for a while, and then leave a cliffhanger, while you start to show his next rival, or someone else whose path he'll cross soon enough. Careful here to try and stay relevant, but with a little effort to mesh all the players together in course, like wheels, you will tell an intricate story and with a little irony, the rest of us will be stuck watching again and again...
...and you can look really smart when you only have to respond with a link and something like, "Oh yeah? Doesn't make sense... then watch this one. You missed something."
As with anything, it takes time and effort to build a plot, just depending on how complicated you want to get it. No, I'm no expert... but I do hope to be a little constructive.
Anyway, it's still a funny, kinda clever take (or retake) on the adventure theme. Nice...

I agree with the previous reviews:) Adventure time:) lol smitty is the human finn and the other talking thingy is jake the dog lol and together they have an Adventure Time )and that bad guy is the leech lol

mordacai and rigby and finn and jake were huge inspirations when making Smitty and Thorns personality and friendship. Thats awesome you noticed. Thanks bro

Of coarse, there's always room for improvement, but still, this was pretty good.
