Reviews for "Creepo's Tales 2"

I absolutely adore the concept of a Tales From the Crypt-style point-and-click adventure, but this just doesn't do it as well as it could. Creepo looks great, and he supplies one or two excellent bad jokes. And the art is very nice, especially the backgrounds. However, the puzzles could be a bit harder, and, as Geminate said, it just wasn't spooky at all. At no point does Crazy Mason make some sort of ominous appearance, and you don't even know what he looks like until the end.

Overall, a good concept that needs to be executed a bit better.

This is not an improvement over Creepo's Tales 1. The graphics and locations were beautiful. Unfortunately the music didn't fit at all, not creepy. I had no sense that I was being stalked by Mason and felt zero pressure to escape from him. If Mason would have shown up a few times and I had to avoid him that would have worked to make the game scary. Puzzles were simplistic and required little thought towards a solution. Nice to look at, uninteresting to play.

It would be nice if Creepo's Tales were multi-part in one game. Perhaps three short tales of woe to overcome, somehow related, culminating in an ending that ties it all together.

This is good. Use the key found in the visitor's center on the open door of said visitor's center (the key that opens the ranger station) and use the knife on the beaver.
