This is good. You avoided doing a lot things that usually annoy me in platformers. The character does not slide around as though he's on a block of ice. He doesn't move too fast or too slow, and there are no off-screen "leaps of faith" that expect you to know where the where the spikes are before you've seen them. The controls were very tight. I appreciate that we can control the robot while he's in mid-jump, because then we can make small corrections in the air. This is vital for slipping through little gaps between the platforms and enemies. It was like one of the old-school pro platformers.
In fact, even without being able to shoot the enemies, this reminded me quite a bit of Metroid. Even the music had a similar mood.
The music is good, too. And the graphics are satisfactory. But with a platformer, it's all about control, and you succeeded. The end was cute, but I do wish we had somehow been able to escape before the system crashed. It would have made the game feel a little more complete, like we achieved something.

Haha... what a cute little game. I played and managed to finish it, and I have to say that it's a pretty neat platformer, even though a bit simplistic(is this like your first game?) Either way, the way it progressed to the ending, and the ending itself was really cool and well fitted..
