I really enjoyed this. I thought it was superbly done, and definitely hope to see more soon. Sonic's intro reminded me of the Sonic CD opening, you know, the one with "Sonic Boom" playing.
I really don't want to be this guy. I've been following Sonic for a long time, the games and the comics, and there's a nuance that bugged me, though I feel almost dumb to mention it. Knuckles is, I think, one of a kind in his ancient echidna race in that he has those protrusions in his hands. That is to say that he is the only one who actually has knuckles, hence his name. Like I said, I really don't want to be so nit-picky, but it was something I definitely noticed. I don't know if you could edit that out of the knuckles sprite or if you would even want to, but since you changed how his ancestors looked in various ways I'd imagine it might be possible. Just my two-cents, being an avid Sonic fan.
Other than this minor detail, truly a fun animation to watch. It's obvious lots of effort went into it and I'm looking forwards to continuations.

We definitely need some subtitles though since it was kinda difficult to make out what the characters were saying at some points. Other than that, there's nothing else to really improve on. Keep it up, man!
