Reviews for "Breaking Phase Zero"

Wow, the animation is flawless. Excellent work!

can u make reaking Phase Zero 2?

Awesome stickmen battle! I've always liked these, because they are fast paced and havea lot of action in a second. Great combination of those movies also!

An intense stickman battle! Everything about it's great, from the stickfigures themselves, to the fight, to the sceneries, to the slick camera movement and turbulent screen movement to enforce the attacks. Nice work!

I really like it.

It feels almost refreshing to see a well animated zetabrand-style stickfigure animation. I've watched a lot of the bad ones made by the 12-year-olds who really didn't have much animating experience, so it's nice to see animators who already have a handle at animating stickfigures take a crack at the style for a change.

I think the animation itself here is as good as it's going to get, so I'm not going to make any complaints about the technical aspect of this film. Instead I'll try to review it as a crossover.

The over-the-topness of Phase Ten was definitely shown in this crossover, but I think it would have captured it a lot more if the music was something more heavy. I find the music used was kind of "too tame" to really show the hardcoreness of the style, as I assume the reason you chose the music was because it was like something from Phase Ten. Another route you could have taken (and I think it would have been the better route) was to choose a music that was like something from Breaking Rust. One of the main appeals of that animation other than the effects was the music choice, and how well it fit. I mean, I really didn't see much effects on this one either (although the ones that I did see were fabulous), so I honestly didn't see that much influence from the Breaking Rust part of the crossover. I get the inspirational cheesy part was from Breaking Rust, but honestly I don't think that's what people really remember when they hear "Breaking Rust", so I think its influence is kind of lost a bit.

There's also that out of place Oxob vs Fox-n-q scene. It really wasn't needed but it was still well animated enough to be a good little half time.

Overall it was a treat to watch. I love all of both animators' animations, and this one isn't an exception. Stickfigure animations ftw <3
