First of all, let me just say major kudos to you for being able to create something so awesome. You made a lot of great choices that ended up working in your favor and you should feel accomplished.
That being said, there were also a fair amount of flaws for me as a viewer. For starters, the sounds. Way way WAY too much DBZ clips. The problem isn't so much that you USED DBZ sounds but how often and with what you chose to attach them too. I didn't "believe" the effects matched what I was hearing. It caused a bit of a disconnect and prevented me from digging myself into the heat of the action.
Speaking of things ripping away from the action, it was overall very choppy. The art style is pleasing and the visuals effects are astounding. But the flow is very poor in some areas. I went through and watched it again to see if it was my computer, but I was met with the same stuttering frames I saw last time right around when the action is really making its stride.
I like the tribute of mixing the two separate flashes together, and "most" of how you chose to mix them came out in a satisfying way. The part from Breaking Rust where the words come across the screen and such was a little rushed. You mimicked the moment very well and the effects were a decent homage to the other flash, but it was rushed and lacked that emotional punch you were trying to emulate. Mixed in with the choppy flow, it felt very lackluster.
Basically, for me, it starts off really strong but instead of getting more into your work I became detached.
That's not to say it's a let down or a failure though. Like I said, you did very well and should be proud of what you accomplished. But grow from it, take your work to the next level and take time to bring out a polished product and you will make mouths drop.
