Bugs:
1) Read the paper in the garage and press right/left arrow while the writing is on screen. A present box appears on the table but nothing is clickable. The subtitles show the other room's name and game will navigate relative to that.
2) Pick up christmas lights again from where you already picked it up after using it. Second time it is unusable.

I don't get how "Rena" means Queen. Otherwise, challenging puzzles there but have a good chance to solve without the spoilers. Just don't drink and draw, mkay?

Also: Reine: French for Queen. Latin for Queen is Regina, and if you take out the middle letters you get Rena.

I like your concept. The graphics are a little grungy, but I they're supposed to be that way. Anti-Santa. The plot gives some immediacy to the game... you certainly WANT to escape. The voice-acted elf was funny too.

Unfortunately, some nasty pixels hunts almost made the game unplayable. It took me ages to get the baubles and the string of lights on the tree, I was almost unable to unlock the drawer, and let's not even talk about the ignition. I almost quit at the end, thinking the game was broken. In fact, if you hadn't included a walkthough, I would not have succeeded... not because I couldn't solve the puzzles, but because it was so hard getting the items to work that I would have believed I was doing it wrong.

Maybe it was my computer? I don't know. Codes work fine, just the items that gave me trouble. If you could fix this, everything would be fine.
