Reviews for "Sentry Knight 2"

What I don't like about this game
1) Is a demo not the full game you have to pay for the full game.
2)Grinding you have to grind to get all magic skills. Why? I prefer the classic method of level skills with stats. It made getting 3 stars worthless to me
3)I was only able to unlock 1/4 of all spells by the time I finished the demo... I am not going to play level 1 over and over to unlock all skills...

The menu screen is simply gorgeus!

Okay, I'm going to review this twice, once as a sequel and once as a standalone game. Also, minor spoiler alert.

Sequel rating: 2.5 stars. This is a mediocre sequel. It is barely different from the first other than minor changes and new graphics. Different story and some different spells is nice, but all in all it is the same game with a smaller skill tree and some flashy add-ons.

Standalone rating: 4 stars. Great game nonetheless. Adjustable difficulty was a must because the game is just as disappointingly easy as the first one - I had to play at max difficulty after the first few levels to get any fun out of it. I love that maxing skills gives you special bonuses, and I love that you get free respecs. Wish there were more boss fights and more interesting enemies. I get the need for support with premium content but it's a bit lame and just comes off as needy. Best feature = the art. Worst feature = the overall unevolving gameplay.

Well, what is there to say about this game other than it's most DEFINITELY worth the time to play it! If you want valid reasons, then let me give them to you!

First of all, it's basically a sequel to the first one, which I am a big fan of! Enemies have a newer look to them, your knight looks different and pretty cool, the spells are almost the same, and gameplay is EXTREMELY fluent.

Changes were made that make the game MUCH better! Upgrades aren't too easy to come by, giving you a challenge, the challenges can actually be difficult and keep you on your toes, new enemies, each with their own unique style of messing you up, and the difficulty as you advance makes you focus and also makes the battles MUCH more intense! SO many other things can be described about this game but they escape me at the current moment.

Replayability? OF COURSE! There's a mechanic in the game that can cause you to go back to the beginning to face a much harder run! How do you do this? Well, ever level you select has a meter labeled "Monster Power" and by default it's set to level 3. If you wanted to, you can beat the game on the default difficulty setting, then go BACK to the beginning and crank the difficulty up to level 10 and give yourself a MUCH harder experience! Or, you can even do it SOONER! It's really all up to you!

Bottom line, I loved the first one, and I most CERTAINLY love the second one. You guys made a stand-up, brilliant game that I can find myself playing again and again. Keep up the good work, fellas! And as to the people reading this review to see if this game is worth it, I think I covered it rather well. If you haven't played the FIRST one, I highly recommend it!

Amazing game!
