Reviews for "room nr. 6"

Man that's crazy, love the eyes...

I drew an eight ball thing on a lemon with a martini sword stuck in it somewhat recently really, (I actually try to draw random things). Interesting we used the same concept for works that are so different, yet very similar. Really random and detailed, very precise as well...

Very Surreal

I like the fact that it's called "Room No. 6" and that the main character has an "8" incorporated into him. This was probably not your intent, but your work makes me think of the 1960s series "The Prisoner". The hands with the teapot seem to be saying "just sit there and relax, we'll take care of everything...tell us what you know...". In any event, very unique imagery.

Serenely Abstract

I have seen most of your artwork and I am a steadfast admirer. There is a lot of bad work but also a lot of good art on Newgrounds. Long have I looked at a lot of material. I always hate to see reviewers say things like "this is the best piece of art ever" or "this artist is the best on newgrounds," etc. However, that being said, I do believe that you easily have some of the best work I have yet to see on Newgrounds. Your art is filled with detail and is usually done on quite a large scale, something you don't often see anywhere. Surrealism is not an easy style to pull off, especially on large-scale with lots of detail and a very busy piece. Yet you pull it off time after time. This piece isn't as busy as some of your others, but is still another excellent artwork in your collection. Just magnificent. Your artwork boggles the mind and, I think, that's exactly what you're going for.

Uh...

Like Monty Python only super creepy. Love.

A Portal reference?

Sorry if I misunderstood, but it's quite a reference to Portal, the Valve game, for me.
In the room nr.6 (Exactly the same name). In that room there was a device that provides a cube (the cube of sugar in this picture). There is also some cameras watching you (like those eyes in the wall). In this part of the game, the IA controlling the center is still being kind to you, giving you gifts. And the bleak walls hide an entire computer that feels you though them (maybe with those eyes, ears and noses). You know you are dead, as shows the 8 ball in your face, but you still enjoy these gifts. The computer treats you as another one, giving you challenges that a normal human wouldn't stand. Your heart is the round version of your better friend in the game, the Weighted Companion Cube (well, now it's a ball).
If you are a Portal fan, you might understand what I'm talking about. If you haven't played if yet, I truly recommend it.
I hope everyone have understood me, I'm not a native english speaker.
