Interesting trippy game. Controls feel a little floaty and collision box is slightly off. Would have been nice if you added mechanics that a snail already has (block attacks by going into its shell, able to climb walls etc). Has the potential to be a fun experience.
The pitch was great, I have always wondered what it was like to be a snail. The game is like the stuff I use to make in junior high - not to say that in a bad way, but I wouldn't have given myself any stars on a game site either. The reason I scored it nil was because it wasn't of the level I've expected to see on game sites. The character image input was lazy, the controls were "meh" and the "boss" fight was not something Andy Samberg would be eager to include in his next song about bosses. I'd recommend tidying up the character images before you release the full game, and potentially (and I may be over stepping my mark here) have the enemies something a snail would fight in his day-to-day, like sand or shoes.
