Reviews for "Infectonator : Survivors"

Excellent. But WHY does it have to autosave after I lose my squad? Ugh! :( Rating it 3.5 for the reasons others have already mentioned. But really I do like it! I'll look for more of your titles.

My thoughts is this reminds me of rebuild 1 and 2. I hate my objectives in Survivors. You have to use resources to escape the zone before 20 days. I preferred to just try and survive and expand my area to the max amount of the map. (Rebuild 1&2) The only thing Rebuild lacked was the actually missions of going in and gunning/chopping which is available in survivors . It took forever to get the food per day effect + it was horribly flawed possibly not even giving 1 food per day. I questioned if its even worth getting it sometimes. Main base does not even feel like main base. It is just a constant move to place to place. I would like more survivors so I can take more risks and have fun with it. I get to worried about the few survivors and usually will lose someone important for a certain job without good back up choices. The leveling system puts to much on the constant mission takers and not the rest of your party. Any newcomer comes in at level 1 :/. I find it annoying trying to get my team to epic zombie fighting machines when there are so many limitations. I feel the map levels should be noticeable different. Randomly you get sent on a random mission through a free roam building place with no turret opportunities. This building also needs to be noticeable different. It kinda seems lazy to just change the set up just a tad. I think you could also work on a difficulty system so more people can enjoy it to the end. I find this game hard so far. I think I am getting a better hang of it but some things are not clear to me. I would like more clarity about the car. Its funny I completely ignored the car my the couple run through s of the game. I plan to try and mess around with it today but you can make it more clear some things you can achieve or do in your game without making it look like your babying us either. Remember, I only say this because I care enough to comment/review your game. I like it but see much more potential.

Its a cool game but due to the fact that only melle combatant always lags behind or is too fast while moving, with the group under atack it seems like im controling a bunch of stupid monkeys, i have to constaly push the lazy worker infront of my team for them not to get faces eaten off

Need to Buff melee characters
Need to fix that random percentage pickup (I have 50 wood and steel but can only find 1 duct tape throughout the game/ in some run through I never pickup any weapons)
Need to balance that crafting cost (The only research worth doing is the weapons upgrade)

I still wonder why some people said it is so hard. I can solo 1 character in a frantic zone during the early days and solo 1 police in the infested zone with a good weapon.

Really amazing game! Interesting concept, difficult and requires thinking. I'd really love to purchase this game, really worth it. But there are some points I would like to talke about: Difficulty: I have noticed many people find the game difficult and even impossible. But I have played this game a few times already and managed to beat it. It's not impossible, but really challenging, and might take a few tries.
The supply system: It's not broken at all. In fact, once I got the hang of it, I managed to find so many supplies to survive for about 4 days in a row doing nothing. The supply drop rate is ok, you just need to plan ahead carefully and sometimes split the team to look in 2 areas each, but being careful about the strenght balancing and weaponry. One thing I agree with the rest is that the hydroponic farm upgrade series are really not worth it. I think a 40% chance of creating supplies would be ok, but right now I think it's much smaller than that and a little bit like it in the last tier. It really neads some tweaking but its nothing too serious.
Beating the game: Everything else about beating the game is fine, even the zombies difficulty. It's easy at the beggining but starts getting worse around day 5 or 6.
But overall it's a really nice game. I'd just like the hydroponic farm to be tweaked, which is pretty much the only issue here, the rest of the game is nice, fun and challenging so keep up the good work! Hope to see more content on the game once it's out! Thanks for the amazing game.

Hint for those who cannot beat the game: Split your team. If you want to move to an area with harmless zombies you can just send 2 or even 1 of your survivors (if you're feeling confident) and make sure you take someone who can search fast with you. That's pretty much the trick, making teams when there is no danger and taking the whole team if the are you're going to is frantic or higher. Also, do not spend points in the hydroponic farm, it's really not worth it. You get enough supplies buying them from the merchant or doing split-loots. The best thing to work on the workshop right now is the weapon upgrade. Just keep working on it, it's really going to pay off and you're going to be able to survive on the later stages of the game. I have already beaten the game 2 times, so it's a proven strategy. Good luck!
