I think you chose an excellent game mechanic to represent slowly going blind. Like the music too. You have a talent for raising awerness...use that to aid people. (no, do not become a social justice warrior...just create games like this! )
well tbh , i can't stand staring at bright colours. it makes me dizzy.

First game to make me not only feel but cry; not a very complex game, but genuinely impactful art.
While I am sorry for your mother's loss, this doesn't improve the game's appeal in any way. This is... well, too personal, and have almost no value as a game.
And I really wished for the dog to finally die when it could barely see anything, just to complete the game, not from compassion.
