This is a wonderful game, well worth the time. Been playing it for over a week, and despite some tough spots, has proven to be as good as the old cartridge games were in my youth (41 y/o). The walking times between screens suck, as does the reliance on gadgets to progress.. but not really, it helps structure the gameplay quite nicely.
Now, let's see if my gamesave ports over to the public release.... yeah, so maybe add shift to run (and in later versions, add a battle move along with it). Also got frustrated with the controls, like not being able to shift which way the player faces in mid air, but again, that's not a deal breaker.
Glad that Tom sponsored this game, it's definitely a game of the year kinda thing ;)
