Reviews for "A Way Back Home"

I found this short to be as satisfying visually to the eyes as it was audibly to my ears; of course, there are moments of latency within the video but in the time-frame this was created, you can't argue that it was less than superb. The story itself grants it a dimension in itself: the experience of a man who transcended his own human condition to find a place long forgotten. Brief moments to compare everything to the only clues he had really showed how desperate he is, not counting the last bit... but if I continued, I might as well type a script.

If tldr, fantastic work from your team and looking forward to the next one.

Always glad to see a giant dune worm, except that this one had arms, but it was equally great, indeed it having arms made all the more enjoyable!

The camera work was great this time; I really liked the take where the character pulls out his sword; even if he doesn't use it at the end, hahah.
Since I've been through the though time trials of NATA aswell, there's really no point on mentioning the frame-rate, which worked pretty well after all.
Another superb animation!

StejkRobot responds:

Thanks butz! yeah i had some things in mind for the sword but it became a "snakes on a plane, pick the gun up, say something and then put the gun back" scene haha just to make it dramatic..
Get pumped for the results tonight dude!

That was incredible. That's all I have to say.

Once again, this was fucking awesome. I can't imagine the awesomeness you could create without a deadline. You're easily one of the most underrated animators on the internet.
