I have some tips. Make the boss fight harder, where it actually attacks you. Also, I'm pretty sure the first level is broken... Maybe I just don't understand the trick to doing it though. After the boss fight, you should find out that was only a baby squid, and the mother is very angry... Then you have to raise the guardian to become stronger, so it can fight the mother and return peace or something.

Not a bad game, but not good, either. Everything works as it should but it's too easy and too short, even for a Ludum Dare game. Over in about two minutes without even the challenge of a high score or anything. It's also odd that the signs say "Beware" and yet they feature the face of the guardian creature you have to find to save you. Why should you beware or otherwise fear it?

You are absolutely right. On the original version the game would send you back to the begining everytime you die, but player find that a bit unfair. Now it have checkpoint on every level but it seems to easy. I think I have to find a better way to balance difficulty. Any tips?
