Reviews for "20 Waves"

Hi!

Excellent game! Had a lot of fun! Its hard though or has a steep learning curve.

colburt187 responds:

cool thanks for playing, make sure you use the force fields and upgrade your miners early!

Fantastically well-made game.

The gameplay was engaging and required some creativity to to successfully pass to the next level.

The graphics reminded me a lot of the Nitrome game Bullethead, which is to say, they are very, very good.

The soundtrack was perfect for the game.

Overall, this is the best game I've played on this site for a very long time, and is sure to win many awards in the future. Bravo!

colburt187 responds:

Thanks! great to hear positive feedback, yes the art was inspired by the awesome Nitrome style, glad you like the chiptunes too!

Kind of a bittersweet ending... "Yea! You fought off the locals... That means we've strong-armed them into submission and are free to desecrate what remains of their already-troubled planet!"

Sigh, humans... :(

colburt187 responds:

haha, yeah, kind of tricked you into that eh.

Hey man, really impressed with this game. it was equal parts fun and challenging, great job. Some say the tutorial was long, but I think it could have added more to it, mostly in the way of explaining repairs and damage that weapons and structures can take. But overall, I would definitely recommend this game.

colburt187 responds:

cool thanks, glad you liked it. yeah i changed the tutorial around a few times, Im guessing most people skip it anyway :)

its easy to place mining buildings and power building inside of eachother, just place it above an already placed building, and it will be fall and be placed in the same place as the already placed building.this can also push buildings off the left of the screen. but placing too much causes lag. also @scatmanfan101 , you lose when an enemy gets all the way to the left of the screen.
