The way the room moves around in combination with Snake and the guard's face gives me the same type of impression that 3DS pre-game images look like before you start the games up on the main menu. It's so nice.

These pieces are the most charming mixed media works I've seen around here; the style of the BG's compliments the sprites immaculately and the soft shadows and lighting effects are a really pleasing touch. The colors of the BG are toned excellently to match with the game/characters, it amazes me how well put together this is! And I agree with PhantomArcade, Powderehss, and Monstergert
