Reviews for "D-Pression"

At first I thought, that this is going to be another random platformer about nothing.
But it turned out to be a very intresting and climatic game.
I'm pretty sure It is some sort of deep message, that I can't understand.
The gameplay is clever and requires to use brain a lot, the graphics are the best part of it, you really did good job on this one, the music simply adds some atmosphere.

Sadly, I gave up at the "empty room", I just couldn't think of solution to this.

Thats all I wanted to say here, thanks for upload, and no bugs to be seen here.

Hello Gaeth, thanks for your review! I'm glad I turned your expectations around!

"I'm pretty sure It is some sort of deep message, that I can't understand."

=> Well, I think I would've manage to convey the message better if I would've had time to finish the game properly. You see, I had my matriculation exams in the middle of all this.

"Sadly, I gave up at the "empty room", I just couldn't think of solution to this."

=> Yes, I figured this would be a difficult one; it's actually one of the last levels. I'll give you a hint: the friction is not the same in the air and on the ground. So if one actor stops when on the ground, the other one still moves in the air :p

I really appreciate your review!

Interesting...

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks ;)

Its a very Cool Puzzle Game, and your The Music is Great :D
Great Ideas + Cool Puzzles = D-Pression :D

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Hahha, thanks!

I think musicians might want to call it 'B-Pression, since all music and sound effects revolve around the B key :3

Very good concept, but getting quite hard :D The music fits well. Good job!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a lot, Chris! I appreciate that you checked out this small project of mine! Yeah, I figured it might be quite hard :p I'm glad you liked the music too! :'D
