Great retro-style game!
The art-style is really beautiful. Music is very NES-like and soothing. Gameplay is nice and simple.
The controls seem to be a bit rigid, but that goes away after a while.

It definitely seems like you've taken cues and style design from the NES and Sega Master System era, great stuff!
I like the graphics and colors a lot, but I really like the music.
It adds another layer of fun to this light hearted (yet challenging at times) platformer.
