If this were any other concept, I would likely have just left in frustration.
However, it is true that the intent of the artist has a great deal of influence over how you perceive a game and its mechanics.
I played through to the end with every disability, because this game spoke to me on a level that few do.
You have earned my respect.
This game...It brings out such strong emotions. I kinda want to go throw up now. It's sick and sad and...Actually kinda true. If you're blind, you can't see the trials ahead. All you can really do is guess based on sound and experience. If you're illiterate you don't see warnings, and you're easy to mislead. If you're crippled, you have to depend on people for help, which isn't always a good experience. Those are the ones I played. I'm kinda too sick to continue. Though, I suppose this was a bittersweet experience. Bitter because I definitely feel for those disabled dudes, and I'm disgusted by those little cloaked guys. Sweet because now I guess my minor social disability and slight learning handicaps are much more bearable after going through such harsh and unpleasant trials as people with more serious disabilities.
Very powerful game here that once again shows that games can be as deep and artistic as any media, I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
