Fantastic game, perfect gameplay and level design. Loved the music, the loop never gets repetitive at all. Also, the GB graphic style makes the perfect atmosphere, i felt like i was really playing on a GB (or maybe an emulator), i really wish there was an actual GB catridge for this game... anyway, well done, keep it up.
This game made me rage! Really, the difficulty of this game is like on of Gameboy old-school games! Very nostalgic, cute graphics, i like the creativity of the challanges of this game. You sir, deserve a medal!
Really love the aesthetic and character design I love jolly they are :) only thing of note would be to add some shading or darken up the instruction blocks in the background to make them more noticeable. Mechanically sound though perhaps something more right at the start to get me invested maybe a element of mystery since you're not using your mechanics as a hook as they are progressive.
There is definitley something wrong with the medal system. I manage to get at least two of them, but only one show up on screen. At least I can still review most things. I admit that I'm kind of turned off by the idea of not having a means of defense. Of course, I'm sure there's some item that helps you out with that. The music is pretty sweet.
I just like how the colors are done in the style of a Game Boy game. Nostalgia is always good. There were some pretty interesting locations and enemies. It did, however, take awhile for it to truly be enjoyable. It's still pretty much worth the wait.

If by defense you mean a weapon, well you get throwing knives little later on to defeat enemies and to solve puzzles with.
