Great game! The interface is easy to get used to, but the variations you can choose between are extensive, and the tutorial in the form of dialog works great. Simple battle system, rewarding upgrade system and a lot of fighting, and more than just fights but a world to explore and adventures to embark on. Great game!

My only issue is that when it goes to the map I can't enter a location that's not darkened, and when I try to go back to the town I started from - I'm stuck in the map. Not sure if it is a bug when you choose to be a Sun kingdom Samurai...
The game is easy as can be, but its fun to have a game like this to just mess around in every once in a while. I liked the new art style and it was really nice to see one of these games again.
One gripe I had was that there wasn't a female character. C'mon. I had to get rid of the beard and just pretend I was a girl with butch hair. There were also some tiny bugs. When I started I clicked caster as my class and for some reason it set me as a battlemage (or whatever) had to re choose 2 more times to get it right. Again, tiny bug though. You did a good job with this.
Seems good enough except that whatever rune you select to combine, or add, is not necessarily the one that is added. I tried to add a level 4 blood rune, not a bad thing, and got a level 1 anti Sun rune.
happy to see another one, its got a big improvement since the last one. a bit simple, but the simplicity is a good thing. i like that you incorporate more quasi-story and guns into it. fun as ever, kudos!
