I felt like the chicken spell needs to debuff those effected as well. For example, the templars can aura themselves but turning them into a chicken doesn't remove that aura (the swords still float around them) and I feel like it should. Same goes with the amazon ability, the chicken thing should cancel it out as well I feel. Lightning scroll I also felt was simply way to week to be useful on the times that it actually showed up.

Also, a lot of time I want to save scrolls for later use but coins and potions will be underneath them so I have to use it and I feel like something like that is problematic.

Lastly, the fear spell really needs to not only remove charms but provide immunity for like, two seconds. This is because the amazons come in clumps and often times the towers only fire once before being recharmed and there's few ways to maximize the placement of the spell because of this.

love the game, very addicting, and also love the previous games.
I give 3 stars because I believe that one level is impossible to gain 3 stars by using strategy, only by luck.
I'm talking about level 20. all my upgrades are maxed out, I've played the level countless times with strategic tower placement and seized buildings, and still it seems that one can get 3 stars by the luck of random coin and mana drops.
only about 14 users to this day who played this game have got 3 stars on level 20 and 8 users for night. I've estimated this by looking at the "Free Coast" Newgrounds medals and who unlocked them. those are the few lucky ones.
Poor level design for that one level, but great game overall, and great series.

That's true that later levels are not well-balanced. We are working on the update right now, the game balance will be tweaked there.

Generally a good game but a few things have made playing it less rewarding than I could have hoped... Here are some suggestions:

- SAVES: I'd like a way to export the save, many hours were wasted when my first one was lost.
- UPGRADES: Getting Brilliant on the last 3 levels (day or night) is stupidly hard even with full upgrades. This is annoying, I'd rather try and get the Brilliants BEFORE levelling up enough for full points (which can be like a patronising "well, you tried" pat on the back) rather than have full points and STILL rely mostly on luck. As it is, every time an enemy touches the gems that's my time utterly wasted. Max level sucks like that, at least earlier in the game I could still play through to unlock levels and gain experience...
- IN-LEVEL SAVE: Continuing from the upgrades point, maybe a limited use system of starting from the previous round could be awarded when you beat the last stage at max level? As in, your gems get touched, you click "retry" and you get restored to the previous wave and try to make it work. I'd say give it a limited amount of uses of 1-3 goes per level attempt, and have it hard to earn (it's really just to help getting Brilliants on the last levels).
- "BRILLIANT" LEVEL WARNINGS: I'd feel much better knowing whether or not I could still get it, sometimes it can be hard to tell if an enemy nudged a gem or not. A little "stars still available" icon could help.
- ACHIEVEMENTS: There's a "kill 50 divers underwater" medal but no "upgrade everything to max" medal? Harsh.
- GRAPHICS OPTIONS: This crashed at least twice, and I don't normally get that with games.
- FASTER FAST MODE: The hardest point is the start of the game, once you're rolling in mana and cash rarely any reason to even watch the rest unless there's a boss. A faster fast mode would be nice, after all, this game really eats up time!

Only level 20 and 21's Brilliants to go but I may give up on this soon, level 19 took so many goes of the same tactic (for night and day) before it worked and 21 relies partially on the end boss' bombs not landing in a pile of scrolls... At this point I'm really only doing it for the medals rather than fun, which is a shame.

I hope there's a good ending if I do get everything...

We are working on the update so some of the issues will be addressed.
And... the game has no ending... this is because we were adding extra levels and in the end just didn't have time to add a good ending.

Ok, i have to do an important job today aaaaand... i'm playing Cursed Treasure 2 !

Great game, a worthy successor that managed to improve every single aspect of the originale game. A refined gameplay supported by an adequate graphics and a deep customization of skill make this one one of (if not THE) best tower defence game till of 2013.
