okay the story is simple. yes. but i think throwing the cleaver for the bouquet was a good twist.

Don't let these guys pretend to be intellectual critics with you. The plot was clear and concise. Stop responding to the people who denigrate the plot, you're only giving them credibility.
Introduce Butcher, has heart problems, presumably because he eats too much red meat.
Butcher meets cow that is intended to be butchered, falls in love and fantasizes.
Fantasy goes awry when he imagines throwing a bouquet and it is, instead, his cleaver.
Butcher grieves over lost love and his heart problems take his life due to his heart being in pain already.
These armchair critics... Seriously, get over yourselves. This was a great little short.

Indeed you are right my friend, the plot is pretty straight forward but a lot of people can't dwell on the fact that there is no backstory or even no dialogue.
In my own eyes this story has a structure even though is short. And that is all that is important to me.
I do this for myself, but I enjoy sharing my work with other people, and sometimes they may not agree with me, but if they do it in a respectful manner I will respect their opinion too.

you have a style of your own i like it. good sound good quality. but the story felt like i was running in place. it didn't go anywhere and it was really really short. it lacked body. not bad otherwise i suppose.
Yhea I was struggling a tad with the story for a long time and since there was a deadline there were some scenes that didn't quite make it past post-production so if I had had more time it wouldn't be this reduced story I had to work on.
