Reviews for "The Number One Store..."

Didnt really give much context, but oh well.

I usually groan at anything submitted to the Portal if it's CGI, but this wa a pleasant surprise. Good voicework, good use of sound effects that weren't completely tacky and overused (Or maybe it's just clever usage. Either way, good work with the sound placement!), and the animation might've been slightly off but it was lively, aptly synced and not entirely static movement of just ragdoll bones.

So to you I say: GOOD WORK! You've got room for improvement but there's a very solid basis here and you've got a good thing going.

Tanadrine-Studios responds:

I can resonate with the feeling of "meh" whenever I see a CG short or submission on Newgrounds. About 95% of the time they look good but the animation is so bad (or so non-existent) it holds the whole thing back. I've seen this way too much even in professional, high-budget productions. The big issue is that you have people who go straight into 3d and think that a fantastic character rig or a high amount of automation will magically make them a better animator. Hint: It doesn't.

Thanks for the commentary! I know I can always count on the fine folks at Newgrounds to help me know what needs improved, what works, and what doesn't!
