You know what's funny about the situation? A Game called 'pretentious game' and a reviewer who didn't even bother to finish the game before chastising and commenting that the game "was making fun of other platformers".
Those of us who saw the end of it are laughing at you..
Fantastic and simple, two words that don't usually meet at eye-level when discussing newgrounds. Liked the time-killing feel of the game. At first, wasn't so sure what the melancholy music was for, understood by the end. This feels like one of those submissions via personal experience. (stop me if i'm wrong). Good game, satisfying (albeit morose) ending.

It's odd when a self proclaimed parody of "dramatically themed platformers" felt more like one of those dramatically theme platformers it was attempting to mock. Or maybe that wasn't the intention at all, and I merely misunderstood the title of "pretentious game" as being a parody.
I would like to have seen more humor in it. If the intention was to play a little mockery with other games in this style, then the humor this game had was terribly dry. It needs to really slap you in the face. There should have been some double back on the meanings and messages, a sharp left turn when we thought were were slowly going to the right. That makes sense, right?
Otherwise, good game, well programmed and solid platforming mechanics.

it was not meant to be a good game... was made to send a message ... and friend, I need to say that it was one of the best message that some one have spoken to me at this moment of my life...

Okay, I get it. You're making fun of platformers like One and One Story. It wouldn't have hurt to have made the parody a little funnier though. As it was, I sat through a bunch of dull dialogue playing a game slower than molasses only to find that this parody had no punchline or commentary on the games it's making fun of! It simply aims to be a worse game than the ones you're criticizing, without having any redeeming humor value of its own.
