Reviews for "Bertie the Butcher"

It's broken. I can't even kill the cops, as soon as I get near them they just kill me. The AI can be very stupid and aren't alerted to blood sometimes. Also, cops can sometimes see me from across the map through walls, which is stupid at best. good game, but it really needs to be fixed and worked with ALOT more.

It's a broken game, at best. Sometimes civilians would trudge through corpse-fields and never panic slightly, but the next time panic and alert the cops if I killed someone on the opposite side of the area with four walls in the way and no one saw me. Also, cops kill you anyway if you get close. A cop stood in the doorway for three minutes, and I couldn't get passed.

It's ok, and it's got potential, but right now, it's broken, senseless and dumb.

Love the game, it brings out the blood-thirsty psychopath in all of use!
And to those of you who wonder why you die in one shot, why there's no movement pattern in the game and why the cops shoot on sight is because this game trys to be as realistic as possible, think you're a cop and a serial killer is on the lose, THEN you see him do you shoot?

This game is very flawed.
-Policemen shoot me before I kill anyone
-There is no range to the line-of-sight of anyone
-Sometimes, holding down C doesn't clean the blood
Wasn't really anything that stood out to me to be particularly good.

This game has a lot of potential, but the frustration factor is just too high. The behaviour of the figures are very random, so you'll sometimes have to wait for a very long period, until there's a chance to kill someone without being noticed. Then again, the panic trigger seems pretty random, since it went off a few times, even though I thought I catched a good spot. What also bugs me is that the cops will shoot you, even if there's no panic. And a very little mistake will lead to a restart. Doing a level over and over again is not hard, but very tedious - especially with that game play.

All in all this is a pretty good, refreshing game idea, but it seems too hard to realize it well, in just 48 hours.
