Reviews for "Dead Girl Strip Club"

U good?

Very Strange and Interesting. Did not make me horny in any way, but it sure made me think while I was watching. There are some good comments down here.

Like other comments, I do not agree with the creator's opinions at all.

Although this series is mostly about a dog who has experienced sexual abuse, I can relate to it in some odd way even though I have not suffered from SA. (my heart goes out to those who have suffered from it) The feeling of being abandoned, neglected, given affection but not the kind you want, desperate for praise, approval and genuine affection. I have serious abandonment issues as a result of being neglected, emotionally and mentally abused and manipulated, by peers or parents/adult figures in my life. Like the saying goes, art is meant to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfort.

made my brain feel funny

While I dont agree with your politics at all, I was so moved by the mastery of this particular piece that I wanted to give it praise, from one artist to another (though I dont post here).

Where do I begin? The backwards music at the beginning helps beautifully frame the uncanny and dreadful scene thats taking place, the grim reaper behind the scenes giving "more voltage" perfectly captures how toxic managers of performers can be, working them to the bone, getting them 'wired' on drugs so they can keep performing (also captured by the momentary sped up clips), the fact that all the performers are dead encapsulating how the industry even in death will STILL milk an artist of all theyre worth.

The whole scene slowing down to show Alfred's deteriorating and depressed mental state that leads up to attempted suicide over his current life only to be distracted by lust (as many including myself do) from the dancer that appears, Alfred too drunk to care that shes a corpse.

The stilted, unnatural and painful looking movements and music of the dead stripper as her long dead nerves are being FRIED to "life", all of it feeling so disturbingly wrong and uncomfortable to watch, yet you just cant STOP watching.

Last, but far from least, Alfred getting a sobering moment of what hes been getting horny over, seeing the pure rot, the bugs reminding him that theyre eating what was once a living breathing person thats been decomposing probably for months, but gets forced to continue his actions. That last part to me reads like someone who slowly got into a new very awful taboo kink, they know how wrong it is, but its too late, they dipped their toes in, their brain decided they liked it and now he just craves more (or at least his other personality does).

Once hes woken up from his strange dream-like stupor, hes absolutely mortified and confused to find himself in the situation hes in. This horrific scene overstimulates his mind until his true self passes out...only for his alter ego to awaken and continue these horrific acts. Very well done on this horrifying masterpiece, I sure know I wouldnt be bold enough to touch most of these topics.
