When I expected Minimalism, I expected to not have to micromanaged 30 things at once. This could have been better if you SLOWLY gained more and more features, but even then it still isn't minimalistic. You just require too much input all at once and it's so easy to fail that the game isn't all that much fun.

2 Words: Completely. Sucks. If you really wanted this game to be playable and enjoyable; then what you need is to: have it to where you can build your civilization and put people on it and have it be destroyed to watch all the little stick figure men running around.
Not great.
This is almost a good game. Figuring out how to play it is the difficult part. Took me several attempts before understanding what how this game worked. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty fun... for a while. However, without any way to pause or save and so many cities to destroy, to beat the game you must spend hours in a single sitting without any breaks and gameplay becomes extremely repetitive after a while. With a few changes, this could be a great game. As it is, however, it's a bit of a dud.
I thought the over-all game was stupid.
