Reviews for "<KZ> Drumz N' Choir [Loop]"

plz man make this longer, i'm itching to hear it

Wow I like this, if you make it longer, which I hope you do! I think make the intro a little less abrupt, it does start full on, which is good as is, I just feel in my opinion it needs to start slightly different then to follow on with how you have it here! I'm thinking some piano too, nothing over the top just a simple melody, wavering in and out (sorry man I got this on loop and am visualising it lol XD)

just a few ideas, just a vibe I get for this tune! but as is, I like this, there's just something about chanting monks, (or whatever they are) they add that something I can't quite put into words

Nicely done! good luck with extending it!

Peace Out!

Stealth

Kirizzle responds:

You are correct sir, they are monks.

Geez, I have so many ideas for this song... I could do some piano, but recently working on it I got something more towards ambient experimental. I want to do this song well and not disappoint people but I have a feeling it's not going to turn out all that great. I'll just keep checking back to my reviews for ideas and see what I can make out of this loop.

Again, thanks for the review.

Fucking Sweet

OMG You HAVE to make a full song of this. It would be a fucking beast.

Advices, i'd have it fade in the beginning and leave what you have now as an intro. Then add in a second voice to harmonize with the first.

After, that... what I would do is i'd bring in the guitars and shit turn this song into a fucking beast. But that's my personal style. I hope I helped youa bit!

I can't wait till the full thing comes out!

If you find the time check out my page at http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1611484.

My newest submission is: "The Losing Victory".

I hope to hear from you again whether in response or review!

Kirizzle responds:

I've been getting good reviews for this so I guess there is nothing else to do except wrap this baby up and give it some polish.

Thanks for your suggestions, I'm sure they will be helpful, and I can't wait until the full verison of this comes out either! If only I'd get to work on it :P

I'll come by your audio page to review and vote on some stuff, but I'd also appreciate it if you could vote on one or two of my DNB songs right below this one, that'd be great.

Kay, see ya around.

why the hell not

Go right on ahead

Throw in some hi hats and pads while your at it.
I can see you making a sick little bass riff to go along with the drums.

If you do extend it, throw another choir part an octave or two higher overtop the one you have, itll sound sick

I would review more if you left me more to review.(check out my new song) ((cough*))

Kirizzle responds:

Thanks for the suggestions. And I'll go check out that new song of yours. *cough*

Impressive

Hey Kirizzle.

I pressed log out instead of submit, so i'm REWRITING your review, you better be thankful, cuz it was a large review >:'(

Anyways, i'm DnB illeterate, so I hope you'll correct me if I say things that don't make sense.

I think this song could definately be made into a full fledged piece. You could start off with this segment, looping twice, you know, soundeffects to change and add new tastes. Trinkling bells, crunchy noises etc.

After that, I think you could do a very heavy breakdown, really lay on the snare and percussionals thick and juicy. Maybe up the choirs melody, add another octave to the choir to make it more powerful.

A think a heavily reverbed kick used in key points would also make for a good effect, though reverbing it too much will serve to drown the other things out, so watch out.

Now to let my classical mindset take over for a bit.

I can also hear bells in this piece. You know, to truly drive the choir attributes home. A nice deep gong would also be a good soundeffect to use in the piece.

One instrument I CAN'T see in this piece is the Organ. I feel the organ just wouldn't fit here.

I also think some nice low tremelo strings would give the lower end of the song a really nice thick feel. Though doing so could also result in overpowerment of the kicks. Still, try it out, you may find it appealing.

Thats all I have to say thus far Kirizzle, keep up the good fight, the song loops wonderfully, perfect for menu music.

5/5 from me.

Kirizzle responds:

Oh, I hate it when I lose a big file because of a minor slip-up, and then it's frustrating as hell to muster up enough strength and rewrite the whole damn thing. I really appreciate it Maestro.

I really like your advice, bells would go nicely I think, and some glitchy sound FX and perhaps some strings.. yes, this may turn out to be an interesting project. I've been recently thinking about doing a DNB orchestrated piece with some rock or techno elements, like an electric guitar or some synths. I just hope I won't butcher it up O.o

I appreciate the review and the time you took to write it up a second time, it was helpful so thanks a lot :D

Jesus

This has kinda a bad sounded bass and all but I don't know. It could just my speakers. But hey for somebody kinda new to music or I guess not really almost 2 years here... But I did love the Hum and all and the snarea and drums did well but not awsomely done. Nice try you should try to make it into a full track. Hit me back!!!

Para-Noid

Kirizzle responds:

I have been here for about a year now, but during that year I didn't practice making that much music so I guess you can still say I'm an amateur.

I made this in about 30 minutes or something, so obviously, it's not going to be anything that awesome or great.

The bass.. hmm, I didn't have a bass.. *scratches head* .. I had a choir.

If a good idea pops into my head or if someone gives me some good suggestions on how to continue or further develop this loop into a song, then yea, I'd go for it.

Thanks for the review and vote, I'll drop by your audio page later and review something as well.
